Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diario by Gabriel Kuri was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,498.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Kuri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adult Diaper in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,572.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Diario von Gabriel Kuri wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.498,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriel Kuri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adult Diaper im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.572,22).
