The »bidding war« ended at HKD 350,000.00 (€ 34,581.16), 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by FX Harsono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Watching the wound, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).

Die Arbeit Rewriting The Erased Name #4 von FX Harsono wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 34.581,16) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von FX Harsono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Watching the wound beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69) versteigert wurde.
