Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Memory Of The Erased Name No. 7 by FX Harsono was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 17,380.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by FX Harsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Watching the wound in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Memory Of The Erased Name No. 7 von FX Harsono wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 17.380,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von FX Harsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Watching the wound im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69).
