In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Rewriting The Erased Name # 3 by FX Harsono. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 37,138.33), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by FX Harsono; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Watching the wound sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).

Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rewriting The Erased Name # 3 von FX Harsono zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 37.138,33) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von FX Harsono; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Watching the wound im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69).
