Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Classic Of Poetry In Cursive Script by Fu Shan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 64,007.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 64.007,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Shan erzielen.
