This price was achieved in the auction The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 at POLY and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Fu Shan war einem Käufer im Mai 2018 HKD 849.600,00 (€ 92.822,62) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 bei POLY erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.141.525,80).
