Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Du Fu’S The Righteous Falcon In Cursive Script by Fu Shan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 3,750,000.00 (€ 396,403.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fu Shan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Du Fu’S The Righteous Falcon In Cursive Script von Fu Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 3.750.000,00 (€ 396.403,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fu Shan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.141.525,80) versteigert wurde.
