Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Cursive Script by Fu Shan was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 708,000.00 (€ 81,831.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).

Die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script von Fu Shan wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 708.000,00 (€ 81.831,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.141.525,80).
