The work Five-character Poems in Cursive Script by Fu Shan was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 298,856.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fu Shan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Five-character Poems in Cursive Script von Fu Shan wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 298.856,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fu Shan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.141.525,80) versteigert wurde.
