Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Cursive Script Calligraphy After Wang Xizhi by Fu Shan. The result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,653.58) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fu Shan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,141,525.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy After Wang Xizhi von Fu Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.653,58) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fu Shan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Cursive Script im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.141.525,80).
