Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Bagno Europa (Café Pathetique), 2012 by Friedrich Kunath for USD 7,800.00 (€ 6,737.50). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Kunath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Fault Your Fault in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bagno Europa (Café Pathetique), 2012 von Friedrich Kunath für USD 7.800,00 (€ 6.737,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Kunath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Fault Your Fault im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46).
