Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Bagno Europa (Café Pathetique), 2012 by Friedrich Kunath for USD 7,800.00 (€ 6,737.50). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Kunath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Fault Your Fault in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Kunath erzielen.
