Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art Including the Collection of David and Nayda Utterberg, which included the work Pine trees at Yotsuya mitsuke by Friedrich Capelari. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,271.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Friedrich Capelari have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work White birds on pomegranate tree at night was auctioned for USD 4,800.00 (€ 4,327.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art Including the Collection of David and Nayda Utterberg durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine trees at Yotsuya mitsuke von Friedrich Capelari zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.271,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Capelari konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit White birds on pomegranate tree at night für USD 4.800,00 (€ 4.327,05) versteigert.
