The work Mesa by Friedel Dzubas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 75,600.00 (€ 68,151.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Friedel Dzubas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 287,026.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mesa von Friedel Dzubas kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 68.151,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedel Dzubas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 287.026,41).
