Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Frieda Hunziker was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,120.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Frieda Hunziker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maskerade in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Frieda Hunziker kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.120,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frieda Hunziker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maskerade im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
