Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Fredrik Værslev for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,638.63). This price was achieved in the auction Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fredrik Værslev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Canopy) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 254,864.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fredrik Værslev für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.638,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Værslev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Canopy) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 254.864,13).
