A top price for Fredrik Hofwander - as previously expected
The work "Lament for a lost world, even if that world contained its own sorrows and disappointments" by Fredrik Hofwander was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,933.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Lament for a lost world, even if that world contained its own sorrows and disappointments" is the most expensive artwork by Fredrik Hofwander that we have observed at auctions so far.
