In May 2017 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Sommerliche Seenlandschaft by Frederik Rohde. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,322.00 55% above the estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederik Rohde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shoeing a horse at the blacksmith's, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 6,240.00 (€ 9,182.58).

Im Mai 2017 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sommerliche Seenlandschaft von Frederik Rohde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.322,00 und damit 55% über dem Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederik Rohde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shoeing a horse at the blacksmith's beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 6.240,00 (€ 9.182,58) versteigert wurde.
