This work of art by Frederik Rohde could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A couple walking along a road in a forest changed hands for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 535.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Rohde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shoeing a horse at the blacksmith's in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,240.00 (€ 9,182.58).

In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A couple walking along a road in a forest für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 535,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Rohde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shoeing a horse at the blacksmith's im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.240,00 (€ 9.182,58).
