In the 19th Century European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and The Scandinavian Sale auction, the work Dutch Une Ascension En L'An Viii sold for GBP 135,650.00 (€ 159,180.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
