This artwork by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2009. In the 19th Century European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and The Scandinavian Sale auction, the work Dutch Une Ascension En L'An Viii sold for GBP 135,650.00 (€ 159,180.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer erzielte im Juni 2009 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and The Scandinavian Sale wurde die Arbeit Dutch Une Ascension En L'An Viii für GBP 135.650,00 (€ 159.180,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 665.000,00 (€ 488.754,96) versteigert wurde.
