Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Young Woman by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,152.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Woman von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.152,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 488.754,96).
