Sold at the lower estimate price
The work During The Directoire by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,468.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
