The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,011.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik de Moucheron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).
