Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work An Extensive Italianate Landscape With Mounted Travellers In The Foreground, A River With Fishermen And A Castle Beyond by Frederik de Moucheron for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,882.08). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Frederik de Moucheron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).

Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Extensive Italianate Landscape With Mounted Travellers In The Foreground, A River With Fishermen And A Castle Beyond von Frederik de Moucheron für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.882,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederik de Moucheron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 65.621,91).
