In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Works on Paper, which included the work An Italianate Landscape With A Herd Of Cows Breasting A Rise by Frederik de Moucheron. The result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,744.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik de Moucheron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).
