Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An Italianate wooded landscape with travellers and sheep on a path, a horse-drawn carriage and riders entering a park landscape beyond by Frederik de Moucheron. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,939.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Frederik de Moucheron have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2008 the work An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track was auctioned for GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.939,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Frederik de Moucheron konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2008 die Arbeit An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track für GBP 51.650,00 (€ 65.621,91) versteigert.
