Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Feeding The Chickens by Frederick Daniel Hardy was sold in the British and Victorian Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,320.58). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Daniel Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Festive Treat in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 37,600.00 (€ 61,455.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Feeding The Chickens von Frederick Daniel Hardy wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion British and Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.320,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Daniel Hardy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Festive Treat im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.600,00 (€ 61.455,72).
