In the American Art auction, the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Wife, Sarah Frieseke changed hands for USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,129.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Carl Frieseke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Garden in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,407,500.00 (€ 2,275,950.09).
