A top price for Frederic Ost - as previously expected
The work Surrealistic Vision by Frederic Ost was sold in the Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,426.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Surrealistic Vision is the most expensive artwork by Frederic Ost that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Surrealistic Vision von Frederic Ost wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.426,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Surrealistic Vision das teuerste Kunstwerk von Frederic Ost, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
