Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A stag hunt in a wood by a country mansion by Frederik de Moucheron. The price achieved of NLG 11,750.00 (€ 5,660.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik de Moucheron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A stag hunt in a wood by a country mansion von Frederik de Moucheron zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 11.750,00 (€ 5.660,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik de Moucheron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An extensive Italianate landscape with travellers on a wooded track im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 65.621,91).
