In November 2004 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Red Butt (Texas Station) by Freddy Timms. The price achieved of AUD 26,290 (€ 15,313) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as AUD 20,000 - 30,000.
