Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fred Tomaselli could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery Prints Sale Online auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 127.50 (€ 145.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Tomaselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organism in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 914,651.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Tomaselli konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery Prints Sale Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 127,50 (€ 145,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Tomaselli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organism im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 914.651,73).
