The price achieved of USD 3,570.00 (€ 2,990.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Grayson Sayre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verbena Clad Dunes in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,461.94).
