Admittedly, works by Fred Grayson Sayre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Verbena Clad Dunes in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,461.94).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.322,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Grayson Sayre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Verbena Clad Dunes im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.461,94).
