Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A bouquet of wild flowers in an alcove by Franz Xaver Pieler was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,600.00. Other works by Franz Xaver Pieler have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of NLG 23,404.00 (€ 10,287.56) in July 2000 for the work Roses, irises, daffodils, carnations and other flowers in a vase on a ledge.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A bouquet of wild flowers in an alcove von Franz Xaver Pieler wurde im September 2005 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Franz Xaver Pieler haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von NLG 23.404,00 (€ 10.287,56) im Juli 2000 für die Arbeit Roses, irises, daffodils, carnations and other flowers in a vase on a ledge beobachtet.
