The work Austrian Still-Leben Mit Goldfisch (Still Life With Goldfish) by Franz Xaver Petter was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,391.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Xaver Petter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, parrot tulips, an iris, daffodils, peonies, morning-glory and other flowers with a Red Admiral, a bee and other insects in a sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a marble ledge in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 131,807.36).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, parrot tulips, an iris, daffodils, peonies, morning-glory and other flowers with a Red Admiral, a bee and other insects in a sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a marble ledge im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 131.807,36).
