A top price for Franz Marx - as previously expected
The work The bullfight by Franz Marx was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2003. The price achieved of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,329.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The bullfight is the most expensive artwork by Franz Marx that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.645,00 (€ 2.329,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
