This artwork by Franz Lenhart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2011. In the The Ski Sale auction, the work Winter Sport In Italien sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,891.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Lenhart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cortina, which sold at auction in January 2012 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,086.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Lenhart erzielte im Januar 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Ski Sale wurde die Arbeit Winter Sport In Italien für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.891,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Lenhart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cortina beobachtet, die im Januar 2012 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.086,57) versteigert wurde.
