Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Christies in London held the auction 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale, which included the work Cortina by Franz Lenhart. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 11,978.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Franz Lenhart have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2012 the work Cortina was auctioned for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,086.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cortina von Franz Lenhart zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 11.978,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Franz Lenhart konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2012 die Arbeit Cortina für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.086,57) versteigert.
