In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale, Travel in Style, which included the work Dolomiti, Cortina by Franz Lenhart. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,672.56), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franz Lenhart; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cortina sold at auction in January 2012 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,086.57).

Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale, Travel in Style durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dolomiti, Cortina von Franz Lenhart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.672,56) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franz Lenhart; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Cortina im Januar 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.086,57).
