Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Franz Xaver Kosler could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Works from the Najd Collection auction, the work The Entertainers changed hands for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 94,244.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Franz Xaver Kosler have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March last year by the work Arrival of the Caravan at GBP 107,100.00 (€ 126,979.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Xaver Kosler konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Works from the Najd Collection wechselte die Arbeit The Entertainers für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 94.244,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Franz Xaver Kosler wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Arrival of the Caravan mit GBP 107.100,00 (€ 126.979,10).
