In February 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The tomb of Celia Metella by Franz Kaisermann. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,171.90), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Kaisermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,027.61).

Im Februar 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The tomb of Celia Metella von Franz Kaisermann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.171,90) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Kaisermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.027,61).
