The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Franz Kaisermann have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2012 the work The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,027.61).
