Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jeune Garçon Assis Sur Un Tapis by Franz Bergman was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Bergman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Austrian Ottoman Princess Riding An Elephant, A Table Lamp in October 2009 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,886.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jeune Garçon Assis Sur Un Tapis von Franz Bergman kam im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Bergman erzielen.
