The work A cold painted model of a cockerel by Franz Bergman was sold in the The Gentleman's Library Sale auction at Bonhams in London in February 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,558.07), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Bergman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Austrian Ottoman Princess Riding An Elephant, A Table Lamp, which sold at auction in October 2009 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,886.82).

Die Arbeit A cold painted model of a cockerel von Franz Bergman wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion The Gentleman's Library Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.558,07) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Bergman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Austrian Ottoman Princess Riding An Elephant, A Table Lamp beobachtet, die im Oktober 2009 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.886,82) versteigert wurde.
