Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by František Kupka was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 48,255.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von František Kupka kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 48.255,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
