Auction result well in line with expectations

Admittedly, works by Frans Ykens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grapes on the vine, whitecurrants, blackberries, cherries and a walnut in a porcelain bowl with peaches, grapes and a walnut on a wooden table ledge with a large white butterfly in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 77,675.00 (€ 119,235.01).
