Other works by Frans Ykens have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2002 the work Grapes on the vine, whitecurrants, blackberries, cherries and a walnut in a porcelain bowl with peaches, grapes and a walnut on a wooden table ledge with a large white butterfly was auctioned for GBP 77,675.00 (€ 119,235.01).
