In the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction, the work Joseph And Potiphar'S Wife sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,515.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frans van Mieris the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A man and a woman in a grocer's shop, with fish in a woven basket and scales on a stone ledge sculpted with putti, with a basket of walnuts, a sack of peas, a barrel of dates in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 63,698.79).
