Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists, which included the work Skaters on a frozen canal by Frans Breuhaus de Groot. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,496.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Frans Breuhaus de Groot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with figures resting near a stream in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skaters on a frozen canal von Frans Breuhaus de Groot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.496,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Breuhaus de Groot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures resting near a stream im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
