This artwork by Franklin Brooke Voss achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2016. In the Living with Art auction, the work Heythrop Rundle sold for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,701.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franklin Brooke Voss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American The Meadow Brook Hunt in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franklin Brooke Voss erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Living with Art wurde die Arbeit Heythrop Rundle für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.701,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franklin Brooke Voss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American The Meadow Brook Hunt im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 37.445,53).
